George Lee from RTE’s The Business was visiting our office as part of what is a refreshingly upbeat and positive business program online business.

Also at a recent EU conference our CEO, Ronan O’Brien has been representing Ireland in terms of online business and hopefully helping EU policy a little more understanding of what its like in the fastest growing sector of business at the moment – ecommerce.

Tedfest is coming up soon, if you dont know what Tedfest is, well you must have been hiding off on missionary duty. It’s when fans of the Father Ted TV series get together to celebrate all things relating to to one of Irelands most loved shows. It takes place on Craggy Island (where else!) and is a camping weekend clerical style. Its a bit of an ecuminical random festival, unlike any other.

 
We’ve been getting messages from our fans asking for some dress up hints and advice for the festival. So we thought we’d make some suggestions here on our blog.

It’s not quite purple but the Monty Python Spanish Inquisition Costume is a close match to Bishop Brennan’s uniform and if your not afraid about the occasional kick in the Bottom from a brave priest its a winning choice.

We’re delighted to announce our 2011 range of Christmas Jumpers

Halloween is finally here! The time of the year when eerie is fun, gory is interesting and fear is the key word. With celebrations all over town, it is going to be one spooky evening.

The West Minstown Garda Club in Clonsilla, Dublin, is going to add to the spice of Halloween. Foot-tapping band performances, finger-licking food and traditional Halloween games will set the tempo for the evening. To add to this is the prize for Best Costumes!

It’s an Outbreak- of Zombies, festivals and gore!

Kicking off on the 29^th of September, this 4 day Limerick Zombie Festival has got the wannabe-waking dead shrieking (in delight). Don’t let the crazies frighten you though; it’s all for a good cause. Money raised from this event goes to a local charity, the Cliona Ring Foundation. It’s good through and through!

The 29^th of September shall see a Bloodbath in Dolans at 9pm. Alongside, there will be umpteen other events taking place in various venues of the city.

Come Friday, the 30^th, there will be fun talks, movie screening and gigs towards the evening. The main day being the 1^st of October shall witness events, parties, gigs and games for kids as well as adults. Gracing you with their presence will be bands, dancers, magicians and other fun personalities. Finally, rounding off this 4 day weekend is the Zombie Hangover Feast (how apt!) at Pier One Hotel and a Skazzombie gig. It doesn’t get much better!
