Marilyn Monroe’s very name brings about mixed reactions from everybody, but the amazing thing is the fact that everybody reacts. Perhaps the most revered piece of Marilyn Monroe memorabilia is the iconic white dress from her movie “The Seven Year Itch�. If you can think of it, you probably remember it blowing up around her waist as she stands above a subway grate in a New York subway. This pose has been replicated many times throughout the years, but it hasn’t been done quite as masterfully as it was by Marilyn.

She has also modeled, not least notably her appearance as the first Playboy Playmate. In it, she represented all that men believe to be sexy and perfect: the near-orgasmic smile that turns on the very essence of men’s sexuality, the elegant pose that hides but suggests that there is more, the way her body suggests pure ecstasy… she did it all. Some even suggest that it can’t be done better, and studies have proven that all of the aforementioned bits of Marilyn’s pose are extremely effective.

She also represents the hard-working woman who knows what she wants. She was orphaned as a young child and grew up with only one goal in mind: to be a movie star. She worked her way up and made deals with some early companies, starring in now-legendary movies like “Some Like It Hot� and “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes�.

The white sailor uniform is a permanent part of history, and seems to represent perfect ideals for most women. Those who wear this uniform are hard-working, courageous, and willing to put their life on the line for their country.

It stirs up a feeling of adventure and energy in all people, and reminds them that the horizon is not the limit – anything can be achieved, and any location can be explored. Those that wear this uniform show a dedication and love to their work that is unmatched in almost all other fields, and because they were typically young men, it was a profound devotion.

They sailed the world, absorbed different cultures, and learned how to take orders and lead at the same time. The charisma that flowed freely from these men brought them attention from women internationally, and it wasn’t uncommon for a sailor to come home with a new sweetheart.

As would be expected, stories have been written about explorers that somewhat embellish the details. This undoubtedly eased the sailor’s problems throughout their lives, and made all of their adventures seem more glamorous than they really were.

If you can believe it, these uniforms were not worn by the sailors all of the time. In fact, they were mainly used for presentations, when the sailors wanted to make a first-class impression upon crowds. Their work clothes were very different, and were called work clothes for a reason – there was nothing spectacular about them. Quite to the contrary, actually – they were dull and unimaginative in looks.

So, make the right choice and look like a fine young sailor lad — full of ambition, love, and many other emotions just waiting to be brought out. The life of these workers could change in a day, and that means that they had to be ready for anything and everything.

When you put on this costume, it is unquestionable that you will draw a few glances, and if you play the part right, a handful of laughs. These authentic-looking outfits will fill you with a sense of greatness and energy: something almost unrivaled.

In today’s world of permanently down-to-earth attitudes and outlooks, it isn’t surprising that everybody likes to “escape� every once and a while. Fairy tales offer us this journey and allow us to deal with emotions that we don’t normally experience. When one sees something out of the ordinary, they are gripped by a feeling of being a part of something special, and they are drawn to whatever it is.

All stories are written by people who know what they’re writing about. After all, they’ve had similar dealings in the past, which is why they’re so touching. It seems like the good always outweighs the bad, though, and thatdefinitely shows when the two meet. When you have good morals, benefits always seem to come your way.

Imaginary tales such as Cinderella are prime examples. In her story you have a girl who is being oppressed by her step mother’s tedious and demeaning tasks, with all chance of a better life apparently impossible. Yet, as you find later on, a positive force (in this case her fairy god mother) recognizes the good in her and allows her to reach new levels of life. You can’t help but put yourself in Cinderella’s situation.

…And that is the most amazing thing about fairy tales – their ability to relate to you. Everybody sees Snow White’s queen’s jealousy and how it brings about her end, and sees the same principles taking effect in real life. The romance in Beauty and the Beast simply takes your life away, and reiterates the age-old saying: You can’t judge a book by its cover. How true that is, too, as the ‘beauty’ discovers.

The feeling that there is good in all people is simply coursing through the morals of all tales, satisfying an innate hunger that we all possess. Seeing a character from a great tale brings back only fond feelings – something almost impossible to achieve otherwise.

So why not be the life of the party with one of these classic costumes? The underlying social truths in every single account make any imaginable protagonist unique and exciting. Honestly, you can’t go wrong – trust me.

Everybody aspires to be something, or someone. For many people, this person is a parent – mom always did make the best apple pie. For me, though, it has always been a super hero, and I’m sure some of you are the same. After all, we are all still kids inside, and we still share the same ideals that our heroes have.
Batman managed to rescue his city and head Wayne Enterprises at the same time. Supergirl, Superman’s counterpart, manages to work a full-time job and still fight crime. Can you see the underlying theme? We are able to relate to every one of these characters because they deal with the same issues as us. Not one person on this small planet wants to be ordinary, I guarantee it.

It isn’t always the feeling of righteousness that prevails, however. Comedy always seems to worm its charismatic face into the picture. Unfortunately for icons such as Banana man, though, humor seems to dominate the picture. We all can get the job done, but it is those that do it with a smile and a chuckle that do it the best.

There are even those whom we are completely unable to relate to – Wonder woman, for example. She comes from an all-female Amazonian tribe and goes as an ambassador to “man’s world�. Although completely fictional, legends such as Wonder woman work more magic on the imagination.

The list is endless — Captain America, Supergirl, Radio Active Man, Batman — and no matter who, they all hold a place in our mind. They represent the absolute zenith of human life, and give us an insight into the “what-ifâ€�. They are the role models of our past, present, and future. If you can reach, why not reach for the stars?

These iconic costumes will bring plenty of memories and, surely, laughs. Who can resist telling the truth with Wonder woman’s lasso of truth around them? Who can walk away from Banana man with a straight face? Not recognize Supergirl’s symbol? Batman’s yellow and black sign? Not one person, and the ambiguity of each costume will get you a different reaction from everybody.

Women love a man in uniform. It is that simple, and the fireman unquestionably applies. They represent everything about patriotism, and are role models to everybody. They save lives – what more privileged task is there?

Even more impressive and honorable are the volunteer firemen, who do all of their work for free. This means that not only do they provide a service that everybody benefits form, but they also do it without getting paid a cent.

They have muscles, determination, and, most important of all, they care enough about people to stop their suffering. Somebody who has all of these traits is, no doubt, an awe-inspiring person. They make public workers such as teachers look uncaring in comparison.

Allow elaborate on my previous statement – women love a man in uniform. Their uniform is one of the most revered, and very few people actually wear one. It makes them look gritty and tough, and it brings about feelings of envy. When somebody is wearing that uniform, you know they have to keep in shape to be able to do the job that they are doing.

The heroics of their job also contribute: how many people can say they are dating a hero? Some weeks every day they are putting their life on their life to help others out.
