With the last minute preperations being put together for New Years Eve Parties across the world, The classic masquerade ball theme this year again proves our most popular theme of NYE 2009.

From Hotels that are going all out putting on Fancy Dress Masquerade Balls to black tie events that have been give that extra sprikle of magic by adding eye masks to their dress code requirements there simply isn’t a better way to spend New Years than with friends at a ball surrrounded by people you’re not quite sure you recognise.

Everyone’s favourite Green Orge is due back on the big screen in 2010 for an aptly entitled Shrek goes Forth. Shrek Goes Fourth is planned to be released in both 2D and RealD 3D. DreamWorks Animation is planning on releasing all their films in 3-D starting in 2009 – Sweet!!! And Sir Paul McCartney has confirmed he will be lending his voice to a new character.

Cooler Still, Shrek the Musical has just lanuched this week on Broadway. Although its got mixed reviews from Critics all the comments on their facebook page are great. Check out some of these great clips about the production:

The boy who has everything is very difficult to buy for. Kids nowadays are into their Playstations and latest fads – problem is if you don’t have a kid of a similar age to know whats what then chances are anything you can think of buying the Kid already has.

With Christmas office parties in full swing we thought we’d share a list of games to brighten up your office party:

Santa Hat Game
Give out Santa hats to the guests as they enter the party. The aim of the game is to wear the hat until the organiser / boss takes theirs off. The last person wearing a hat loses the game. As a mexican wave of hats come off across a party a festive jeer arises as the slow ones to cop the situation become obvious.

So everyone knows whos the organiser / boss, they have to wear this hat (to stand out):



The looser then becomes the wearer of the black hat and the game continues. To spice up the game you can set challanges for the looser such as singing karaoke christmas songs etc.

Pass the Orange

Arrange for each table to partake and give each team an orange which the first person should tuck under their chin. This should be passed to the person to the right from chin to chin without using hands. The winning team is the first one which gets the orange the whole way around the table. If you drop the orange you have to start again.

The Balloon Stamping Game

Each party goer blows up a balloon and ties it with a bit of string or wool to his/her ankle. On the given command, the guests (only using their feet) try to be the last person to have their balloon bursted. The object is to stamp on your opponents balloons while protecting your own.
