A Nothern Irish Councillor, Ross Hussey, said he was told about his cartoon lookalike by his nephew and a young party colleague. Now he intends to use his resemblance to beef up his campaign. The Ulster Unionist said he was not flattered but it did amuse him.

“Personally I can see no resemblance, but I have watched it and we would have certain similar traits… To be perfectly honest, I didn’t know who this Peter Griffin was until my 23-year-old nephew and young Ryan who works here pointed out a resemblance.”

One has to question the commonalities since last time Peter got involved in politics he started his own republic called Petoria and on a recent TV interview he managed to offend just about every American.

Still though, there’s no questioning Peter Griffens iconic status and a Politician with a sense of humor, well when times are tough it couldn’t but help to try something new. 4. The Witches
This adaptation on the famous Roald Dahl is known for its strong use of horror in a children movie. However this has softened with generations. In the story a young boy stumbles onto a witch convention in a hotel he’s staying with his grandmother and must stop them, even after he has been turned into a mouse.

5. Hocus Pocus
More than 300 years ago, 3 witches were sentenced to die in Salem, Massachusetts and a boy was turned into a black cat to protect the only way to bring them back wasn’t broken. Now it’s Halloween, and the spell was broken and the witches are back. This time, they’ve got their eyes on immortal life and have turned their wrath on trick-or-treaters and it’s up to the 300-year-old cat and new friends to save the day.

6. The Nightmare Before Christmas
Yup you’ve guessed it, another Tim Burton film. Jack Skellington, the pumpkin king of Halloween Town, is bored with doing the same thing every year for Halloween. One day he stumbles into Christmas Town, and is so taken with the idea of Christmas that he tries to get the resident bats, ghouls, and goblins of Halloween town to help him put on Christmas instead of Halloween, but they can’t get it quite right.

7. Casper
Carrigan hires afterlife therapist Dr. James Harvey to exorcise the ghosts from the mansion. Harvey and his daughter Kat move in, and soon Kat meets Casper, the ghost of a young boy who’s “the friendliest ghost you knowâ€� along with his not so friendly uncles Stretch, Fatso and Stinkie. Ultimately, it is up to Harvey and Kat to help the ghosts cross over to the other side.

8. Ghostbusters
A group of scientists get kicked out of their job at a university in New York City. They decide to set up shop in an old firehouse and become Ghostbusters, trapping pesky ghosts, spirits, haunts, and poltergeists for money. They wise-crack their way through the city, and stumble upon a gateway to another dimension, one which will release untold evil upon the city. The Ghostbusters are called on to save the day.

9. Monsters Inc.
Sulley and Mike Wazowski stumble across a 2-year-old baby girl dubbed “Boo,” who accidentally sneaks into the monster world with Sulley one night. 10. The Corpse Bride
