Following on from our post about the random Morphsuit customers we had in store last week, we seem to be on a roll with the madness and another customer decided to join the fun and don her costume in-store for an impromptu photo-op!
Her costume of choice for a friends’ party was from the Batman costume range, Harley Quinn. Harley Quinn is the supervillainess in the comics, an ally to Poison Ivy and girlfriend to the Joker.
Send us in your costume photo’s!
Here’s a quick video cast on one of my favorite products at the moment the Skeleton Hoodie.
This costume promises to be one of the big sellers for this year. Its extremely comfy to wear and can be worn on a day to day basis as well as being an easy solution for any costume party. The visibility is excellent, it’s comfortable to wear with the zip up or down and is ideal for bring along on skiing holidays. Make sure to order this one early as stock is severely limited.
Thursday April 22nd, 2010 saw the launch of the new Costume Shop premises.
Since it’s establishment, The Costume Shop has expanded and grown far beyond anyones expectations, with thanks to all our customers, our suppliers and of course our couriers for making sure the costumes arrive on time at your door.
With it’s rapid growth, our warehouses were becoming a little cramped so we decided to move on up and give ourselves more space to grow- 25,000 square feet to be exact, and make more room for new costume brands to come on board, to give you more choice. The new building also includes a collection point for customers to collect their order after it’s been placed on our site.
Zatori Results Ltd., housing The Costume Shop, The Bikini Shop and hopefully more ventures has moved to a new premises. Please note the change of address for any postal transactions.
It’s great to flip open a news paper and see our products making people happy. So for anyone that missed today’s Irish Independent here’s the Picture of Pat Kenny with two children wearing our Childrens frog costume and kids ladybug costume.

“This week, Star Wars: In Concert kicked off the European leg of its world tour in Dublin. As we got ready to start the first show in Dublin and the video crew was scrambling to make some last minute tweaks, I suddenly noticed something — the 501st helping us today were talking funny. We had Irish stormtroopers! The 501st’s Emerald Garrison reminded me once more that Star Wars is truly global.”
This afternoon 50 Storm troopers took over O’Connell street and we marched down to the O2 where the 2010 Starwars concert took place. During the week Steven Cooper (aka Darth Vader) had been giving away tickets to the concert and amassing our army of storm troopers. We met up in the Gresham hotel this morning.

We walked down O’Connell Street, getting lots of reactions from surprised onlookers and plenty of Starwars fans taking pictures.

Then we made our way down into the concert. On the way in, there was an awesome museum of movie memorabilia. Then we took our seats and while the concert was waiting to start invent the stormtrooper wave, like the Mexican wave, but more stormtrooper like. It took a while to catch on but eventually we had everyone in the 02 joining in.

But the highlight of the day had to be meeting Anthony Daniels, the host of the show and original movie actor who played C3P0. His PA came out during the interval, asked us to stay behind for a chat and some photo’s.
Such a nice guy and it was a real treat meeting one of the actors that helped define a generation. Big thanks to all the troops who showed and thanks for being such great sports.

So we’ve had a really cool idea, ok technically it was Coopers idea but its a great one. We’ve teamed up with MCD and Dublins98Fm to organize Irelands first ever storm trooper march. You see MCD has arranged a Matine show Starwars the Musical in the 02 Dublin on the 7th of March, Stephen Cooper (aka Darth Vader) will be giving away 25 double pass live on air on Dublins 98Fm and we’ll be supplying the outfits for his army of Storm Troopers.
Participants, we’ll be meeting at the Gresham Hotel O’Connell Street Sunday morning March 7th. Those who win tickets on the radio will be given tickets to the show and costumes also. If your not so lucky to win tickets and have costumes come anyway, tickets available through ticket master for the show which promises to be great.
It’ll be really funny to see the faces as strangers realize the streets of Dublin have been taken over by an army of storm troopers.
Videos and pics of the event to follow. Hope to meet you there!
