At the risk of us seeming obsessed with Mario and his friends we came across this article and just had to post about it for two reasons. One that it’s Mario and Two because it’s coming into the festive season and we thought instead of putting Santa right up there we’d ease you in slowly.

So, the idea behind the creative Christmas tree is that for an office party some colleagues decided to “dress up” their boss’ desk to look like a Mario game level. They decorated the tree with character decorations, lights and then added a Starman light to the top. The rest of the desk had characters stuck onto the walls, it’s really creative. We just love seeing people being so imaginative and having their own take on Christmas.

Have you ever seen a Christmas tree this creative? I’m thinking this year our office will have to do something amazing and wear our Santa Costumes!

Nintendo has a lot to celebrate today, their star celebrates his birthday today. The Super Mario Brothes character, Mario, first appeared on video game consoles on 13th September 1985.

The lovable, quirky character fast became an icon and sold millions of games, merchandise, a movie and TV shows.

In our opinion the greatest game character of all time has to be master chief! Computer game Hero’s just don’t really come any cooler that the guy who has saved the world / galaxy three times now.

Just in time for halloween we have on order the licensed X-box 360 Halo Master Cheif costume. The bad news is its not going to be in till roughly Sept ’08. The good news is that it’s going to be awesome.
