If you’re strolling about Dublin on June 26th and spot a hoard of blood thirsty zombies coming towards you don’t worry, it’s just the highly anticipated Dublin Zombie Walk. The walk starts at 2pm at St. Stephens Green and moves towards Temple Bar. If  you’re not already signed up you can join in on the day and get some make-up done.

If you’re attending the event, why not join the action in one of our zombie costumes, or stick on some prosthetic injuries and scars or just keep it simple with fake blood and face paints.

With Valentines now within stone throwing distance we’ve been hearing talk about a who new theme of Valentines parties for the weekend.

This year the day before Valentines is Friday the 13th! For the superstitious among us that means bad fortune and a day when anything that can go wrong will! Others have Friday the 13th associated with a great movie and an excuse to dress up in the scariest horror costume that one can find.

So the idea for many pubs and clubs for Friday the 13th 2009 is to embrace the bad fortune and scariness associated with it. After all you can choose to stay home scared or be part of the problem!

So get dressed up and have some fun with it!
