Well did you know that in recent census’ “Jedi” has become a popular choice of religion? In fact in New Zealand more people listed chose Jedi as their religion Hindu or Buddhism! Clearly some folks did it for a laugh, but others were deadly serious.


Here’s some crazy facts about how serious Star Wars Fans are:


* In April 2009 it emerged that eight police officers serving with Scotland’s largest police force in Strathclyde listed their official religion as Jedi in voluntary diversity forms.
* In England and Wales 390,127 people in 2001 census listed their religion as Jedi.
* On November 16 2006, 2 self-proclaimed Jedi delivered a protest letter to UN officials in recognition of the International Day for Tolerance. They requested that it be renamed the “UN Interstellar Day of Tolerance” and cited the 2001 Census showing 390,000 Jedi in England and Wales.

In a recent customer query a customer wanted to know how restrictive our Storm Trooper Costume is, basically they were going to a fancy dress party, they wanted to go as a Storm Trooper and they were concerned that it might interfere with them dancing the night away. Since none of the sales team fancied dancing around the office at the time to make sure our responce was accurate i turned to u-tube to see if it had any answers and found this little Jem:
